I have yet to see a big line form for this free attraction that is offered all day on port days and sea days alike. It can be tough to secure a deck chair beside the pool on sea days, but I've never seen a line form to enter the pool or thought it felt overcrowded once inside. Beach Pool is centrally located and surrounded by lounge chairs and cabanas, including seating within the pool.
Carnival Panorama has an active nightlife, with plenty of music and bars to fit a variety of tastes. The Cheers beverage program allows passengers to order up to 15 alcoholic drinks a day, as well as unlimited sodas, mocktails, bottled water and specialty coffees and teas for a set fee. Plus, the resident DJ takes over the Limelight Lounge after the comedy sets are through, late into the night. Carnival Panorama is getting this uniquely fun indoor trampoline park and challenge zone, a shrine to soaring that’s open to adventure-seekers of all ages. While the weather was warm during our ports of call, it was quite chilly during our sea days. You can even escape the upper decks and head to deck 5 for some complimentary BBQ offerings at Guy’s Pig and Anchor Smokehouse. On select days, this specialty restaurant also offers a complimentary lunch buffet outside on the waterfront with select offerings of BBQ meats and sides off the menu. The Carnival Panorama Havana Cabana Suite comes with the same 100-square-foot patio cabana, but the room measures 260 square feet. Toiletries provided are a bar soap for the sink and dispensers of shampoo and body wash that look and smell like tropical cocktails.
The ship offers the new SportSquare features that debuted on Carnival Vista, such as SkyRide, a two-lane bike course suspended over the deck, for views of the entire ship and the ocean beyond. While inside rooms start at just 185 square feet — compared to ocean view cabins that start at 230 square feet — I thought it was comfortable. Even when I've shared an inside room on past sailings, the size never bothered me since I spend most of my cruising time outside on the decks and only use my cabin to sleep. A Cloud 9 Spa Suite is the ultimate in both stateroom and spa accommodations.
Culinary offerings also include Asian dishes, sushi, Mexican and a classic steakhouse. Bite into a big hand-crafted burger with all the toppings at the poolside burger joint. For those who want to relax, simply head to the pools and soak in the sun. Family fun is offered at the huge sports area, complete with a suspended ropes course, mini-golf and much more. Carnival Panorama will debut in 2019, becoming the third of the popular 133,500-ton, 3,954-guest Vista-class series. She will be joining her acclaimed sisters, the Carnival Horizon and Carnival Vista.
I enjoy this pool early morning and late evening, when it's a bit quieter without the DJ and impromptu dance parties. Carnival has so many onboard activities for all ages, but my all-time favorite thing to do on a sunny sea day is slip down the water slides. Panorama has two main slides, both of which I find to be thrilling.

By gross tonnage/volume, VISTA-class ships are currently the largest in Carnival's fleet. Carnival Panorama, like all Vista-class sisterships, has a new cabin category named aft-view extended balcony cabin which is exclusive to vessel's Family Harbor area. Additionally, Carnival Panorama offers 18 tropics-inspired staterooms situated within the well known Havana section. Located aft on Decks 6-8-9, the Havana staterooms offer exclusive access to the Havana Deck which has a Cuban-themed bar and swimming pool. With more space for stretching out indoors, plus a large balcony for kicking back outdoors, try an Ocean Suite to experience private, luxurious relaxation.
Even though a lot is included in the base cruise fare, you may still spend money on things like spa treatments, specialty dining, drinks, and excursions. In addition, guests can also have to pay for things like gratuities and tips. There are several parties held throughout the cruise including the Mega Deck Party, the White Hot Night Party, and the 80’s Rock and Glow Party.
Beyond fun, the Vista class also introduced new staterooms to the line, such as Cuban-themed staterooms and Family Harbor staterooms. I always get a kick out of seeing the dozens (hundreds?) of animals set on their sun loungers, and it's also fun to watch as families with kids see the towel animal party for the first time. Similar to the towel animals room stewards provide in the cabins, crew members set them up throughout the pool deck area on all the chairs to greet the morning crowds. I think one of the best surprises during a week onboard Panorama is waking up to find towel animals taking over the pool deck. Another favorite nightlife venue of mine is the Panorama Atrium with its rotating roster of musicians.
